Jochebed Avalon

Jody is my orginal and first human OC. I hope you all like her. She is a principal character in my fanfic of Sonic X (fav.me/d5g61lq).

ALSO CALLED: Jody (She rathers be called like that), Missy by Sonic at the begining.

SPECIES: Human

HEIGHT: 152 cm

WEIGHT: 42 kg

AFFILIATIONS: Anti-Hero at the begining. Part of The Phantoms

FAMILY: Aaron Avalon (Father deceased) and Eve Hale (Mother deceased)

PERSONALITY: At first glance, Jochebed seems to be an aloof, distant individual who always keeps her cool and with a very mature attitude beyond her age. Her lack of emotion and constant calm tends to irritate others. Despite being of a calm disposition, Jody is far from heartless. She is a person full of generosity, loyalty, and compassion. She deeply cares for her friends and cannot bear the idea of someone to hurt them. She also has a strong sense of justice. Whether she's alone or not she'll always going to fight to protect the ones that need her, no matter what.

ABILITIES: Although she does not have special abilities, Jody is more than capable of handling herself in a fight. She is an impressive hand-to-hand combatant and with great acrobatic skills.
She also posses considerable physical strength; able toss aside a full grown man with ease. However, she is against the idea of needless killing; more often than not, she uses her dagger to disable foes rather than outright kill them during battle. In sometime, she got a wrist-mounted crossbow which she uses small metal arrows to shot enemies from long distances.

HISTORY: Jochebed's past is erased. Her mother died before she was old enough to remember her and never knew her father.
Her only childhood memories are of the time she spent in many fosters homes. With no memories of her past, Jody was a very isolated child. Which made her very difficult to find an permanent home and became an easy target for bullying.
She always tried to be invincible to people so she could survive. She never missed her parent because she couldn't remember them, but she would have liked to know at least how they looked.
At the age of eight, when she was in the orphanage, the janitor captured an animal and sealed it in a warehouse planing to kill so it wouldn't cause problems. Knowing this, during the night Jody entered to the warehouse and while looking for something to set free the animal, she founded a box with her name on it. Opening, she found a dagger and along with it she found a diary that belong to somone called Aaron Avalon. She understood that it might belong to her father. First she used her dagger to release the animal and then she set it free. After getting up, she took the dagger and the diary with her and kept hiding from the orphanage.
For days, she read her father diaries. Ther wasn't any pictures onit, but it helped her to have a clue how her father was. But it wasn't enough... He still looked like a stranger in her heart. She was only able to get to the part where her father met her mother, and the reason was because for not being to careful, one of the kids that bullied her took the diary. While trying to take it back, the kid by accident threw it to a bonfire. She looked with pain how the only way to meet her parents was being consumed by the flames. after that day... all hope in her heart died.
That very same night, taking only a few food and her dagger, she escaped, leaving the place where people took away all hope from her.
For two months she had to steal to survive and escape from dangerous people. But she was willing to bear it.
One day, she was on the piers and decided to steal money from a gang, but they caught her in the act and they chased her into an alley, ready to make her pay for stealing them. Before they could hurt her, another group appeared attacking the gang knocking them out.
After that, the group leader; a male human with a metal plate covering his left eye and a Dark Chao on his shoulder; approached Jody and offered her refuge with them. Scared after what happened, she accepted the offer. She was taken to an aircraft; with the image of a sinister skull. Inside, she found a crew of humans and mobians alike. They were all scary people with horrible intentions in their faces. She was able to see at the end, that the people who saved her were pirates. But the pirates that saved her life.
However, in exchange for shelter, food and repayment for saving her, she had to became one of them. Of course she refused at first, but they gave her no option... Not to mention she didn't have other place to go. If she wanted to live, she needed to follow their codes and their ways of living.
Since that day, Jochebed closed his heart and her emotions to survive in the world she had to live in.
